Author Guidelines

The Journal of Security Research and Studies is committed to applying the highest standards of academic quality and rigorous peer review, in line with its mission to support specialized scientific research in the fields of security, criminal justice, law, and contemporary issues related to national security and crime prevention. The Editorial Board is dedicated to reviewing submitted manuscripts in accordance with precise scientific standards that ensure academic originality, methodological soundness, accurate referencing, and adherence to the ethics of scholarly publishing.

 

To be considered for publication, submitted manuscripts must be original and must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must also be prepared in accordance with the journal’s approved author guidelines, including compliance with the APA 7th edition referencing style, the preparation of abstracts and keywords in both Arabic and English, and the anonymization of author identities within the manuscript to ensure the confidentiality of the peer-review process. In addition, submissions must comply with the technical requirements related to the formatting of text, tables, figures, and references.

 

The journal further emphasizes the importance of researchers’ adherence to the principles of scientific research and publication ethics. Authors are required to submit all necessary forms and files through the journal’s electronic platform, including the publication request letter, declaration and undertaking forms, the title page file, the anonymized manuscript prepared for peer review, and the authors’ academic biographies.

 

The journal also encourages researchers and scholars interested in academic publishing to carefully review all submission instructions and publication requirements outlined in the Publication Policies, Peer Review Policies, Publication Ethics, and Author Guidelines prior to submission. This is intended to ensure compliance with the approved scientific and technical standards and to facilitate the evaluation and peer-review process. The Editor reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet the minimum quality requirements.
